Where Clinical Precision Meets Aesthetic Artistry

Scalp Micropigmentation — SMP — stands apart from every other hair restoration treatment we offer. Where PRP, exosomes, and mesotherapy work biologically to stimulate genuine hair regrowth, SMP delivers an immediate cosmetic result: the appearance of natural hair density, reproduced with such precision that it is completely indistinguishable from real follicles, even on close inspection.

For clients who have not responded adequately to PRP alone, for those with moderate to advanced androgenetic alopecia, or for those who simply want the most cutting-edge regenerative treatment available, exosome therapy offers a genuinely transformative option. With clinical success rates documented between 70 and 90%, it consistently delivers among the most impressive outcomes we observe in clinical practice.

Andreea's approach to SMP is defined by two qualities above all: technical precision and artistic sensitivity. The pigment must sit at exactly the correct depth in the dermis. The size and distribution of each simulated follicle must appear completely natural. The tone must be matched with absolute accuracy to your natural hair colour and skin undertone. And the hairline — in cases where one is being created or restored — must be designed with a meticulous understanding of natural hair growth patterns, facial anatomy, and the proportions that will look natural not just today, but as you age.

What SMP Can Address

Thinning hair: Adding the visual appearance of density across areas of diffuse thinning or a widening part — creating the impression of a full head of hair at a shorter length

Complete baldness (Norwood VI–VII): A full SMP treatment creates a natural shaved-head look with a defined, age-appropriate hairline, indistinguishable from a natural close-cropped cut

Scalp scar camouflage: FUT (strip) transplant scars, FUE donor scars, surgical scars, trauma scars, and burn scars can all be effectively concealed with precisely placed pigment

Alopecia areata patches: Camouflage of patches — providing cosmetic coverage while other treatments work on the underlying autoimmune condition

Density enhancement post-transplant: SMP between transplanted grafts to give the immediate impression of greater density while new hair grows in

Hairline refinement: Softening and defining a receding or asymmetrical hairline without surgical intervention

The Technical Process

Pigment Selection & Hairline Design

Before any pigment is applied, an extensive consultation and design process takes place. The precise shade of pigment is selected — or blended from multiple shades — to match your natural hair colour and skin undertone with complete accuracy. The colour will evolve slightly as it heals and settles, and this is accounted for in the selection process. If a hairline is being created or refined, it is carefully mapped using anatomical landmarks to ensure perfect proportionality with your facial features. Different clients require different hairline shapes and placements — a design that looks natural on one person may look artificial on another. This is where artistic judgment, not just technical skill, becomes critical.

Pigment Delivery

Using specialised micro-needles — significantly finer than those used in traditional tattooing — pigment is deposited at the dermal level of the scalp with precise control over depth, angle, and pressure. Each individual stipple replicates a single hair follicle. The distribution pattern, the slight variation in size and angle between adjacent deposits, and the careful management of density across the treatment area all contribute to the completely natural appearance of the finished result. Topical anaesthetic is applied before and, where needed, during treatment to maintain comfort throughout what is typically a 3 to 5-hour session.

Healing and Touch-Up Sessions

The pigment lightens as it heals during the first two weeks — this is normal and expected. Each subsequent session builds on the foundation of the previous one, adding depth, refinement, and any necessary adjustments to tone or density. By the end of the treatment course — typically 2 to 3 sessions — the result is complete, settled, and natural.

Longevity and Maintenance

SMP pigments are specifically formulated for scalp application — different in composition from standard tattoo inks, and designed to maintain their integrity and natural appearance over time rather than shifting to unnatural blue or green tones. With proper aftercare and sun protection, results typically last 3 to 5 years before a touch-up session may be desired to refresh tone and definition. The treatment requires no ongoing maintenance beyond keeping the scalp moisturised and protected from excessive UV exposure. No special shampoos, no monthly clinic visits, no medication protocols. The result is permanent until you choose to refresh it.

Aftercare

Avoid washing the scalp for 4 days post-session

Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise (heavy sweating) for 5 days

Avoid swimming pools for 2 weeks post-session

Apply SPF to the scalp daily once healed — UV exposure accelerates pigment fading

Moisturise the scalp daily with a fragrance-free, alcohol-free product

Avoid picking or scratching the treated area during healing
