What Happens During Your Consultation
Your 45 to 60-minute consultation is structured to be both comprehensive and educational. You will leave not only with a diagnosis and a treatment plan — but with a thorough understanding of your own hair, your scalp health, and the factors driving your condition.

High-Resolution Trichoscopy Examination
Using professional-grade trichoscopy equipment, we examine your scalp and hair follicles at high magnification. Trichoscopy allows us to assess follicular density, hair shaft calibre, the presence of miniaturisation (a key indicator of androgenetic alopecia), signs of scalp inflammation, scarring, infections, or dermatological conditions that would not be visible to the naked eye. This is the clinical standard for accurate hair loss diagnosis.

Assessment & Differential Diagnosis
Based on the clinical examination and your history, we work through a differential diagnosis — considering and systematically ruling out the full range of possible causes. We assess for signs of miniaturisation, active inflammation, scarring alopecia, infection, and nutritional or hormonal factors. Where blood work is clinically indicated, you will receive specific recommendations for what to test and why.
